You need to measure the resistance of the good probe (assuming that they
used the same type for each side) at two temperatures.  From that
information, the type of thermistor can be determined, and its room temp
value.  Then, you would need to search in the catalogs of electronics
distributors (Newark, Allied Electronics, Digikey, etc.) for a like
type.  If you don't need the needle-like shape, then your options are
much more extensive.
