Looks like a toggled relay spliced into the cd player line would do the
trick.  Duh
Why didnt I think of that?  This internet is sumthin huh?
Question is what does the back of the head unit look like and which
wires are the CD player wires that need to be spliced?
Not a bad looking ipod cradle end result either.
Figuring out the electrical connections is the first step.
It may be worth the exercise too when the time comes to try the fm
modulator, but bear in mind that that will need a power source too
(other than batteries would be nice.)
Next, Where / how to mount it for easy access yet not get stolen.
