Robert and All,
Thanks for the information I just got done replacing all my 1.2Watt Bulbs with Osram 2Watt. Here are my notes for the list:
-1) Purchased 10 Osram 2-Watt Green Base Bulbs from ThePartsBin.com Part#2722 MF $1.98 a pc.
-2) Removing instrument cluster is pretty easy actually. Hardest part is figuring out how to disconnect all the electrical connections on the back. Most are pretty easy but the ones with the "pink" clip on the top are easy once you figure it out. Just need it take a small flathead screwdriver and lift the pink clip stright up. Also a pair of "snips" to cut off a zip tie are useful.
-3) You will need a Torx T10 bit to get to some of the bulbs (Speedo & Tach)
-4) I found out the bulbs fit pretty good however I would take a pair of needle nose pliers and crip down the Osram bulb metal contacts a little tigher so they fit tighter in the connectors.
-5) Applied some Stabilant22 to all contacts..cheapest place I could find it was from Motorola Part#11-80369E78 for around $38.00 for 15ml (ouch!)
-6) Also while I had the cluser off I places a small piece of tape over the dummy alert buzzer...door open, lights on, stereo on etc. This quieted it down quite a bit but can still hear it. Also applied a bit of Silicone Spray around the cluster where it contacts the dash hoping to quiet down the dash (Verdict still out on this one)

Total Time:1 Hour but if I were to do it again about 30 min.

Thanks Guys

cp

Yup. See below. These instructions are for an '89 200tq but the s-cars
are very similar. Two screws under the bottom trim strip and pull the
strip out to the left. (There is a pin at the right which must disengage
before yanking.) Tilt wheel toward vertical and extend it as far from the
dash as it will go. From there the procedure is basically identical to the
	description.

BTW, I had mine out about three weeks ago. ('95 S6)
