Weird- possible problem with your ECU? They have been known
to go bad occasionally.

Never replaced it, too intermitent for me to justify. Boost seems to be
getting to were it should as well.

Never unplugged it at the sensor, but have disconnected at the ECU end
to
test continuity.  Erasing faults only keeps things clear for short time
periods.  I also see the check engine come on while driving sometimes,
but
less frequently for some reason these days than in days past.
