Hey Greg,
I flushed my system about 1 month ago. I used B&G Flush 3/4 can ran car for 5 min warmed up with heater on full bore. Then drained system refilled with hose...ran for 10 min heater on...drained and repeated 2 more times to get ALL the green stuff out. Then refilled with Audi Blue 50% and distilled H20.
Worked like a charm. Was told that B&G Flush may cause holes in old radiator. But I guess I was lucky ;-)

Hi All,
This weekend I'm going to replace my t-stat and coolant. I've got my
t-stat and blue coolant from TPC.
What's the best way to flush system? Do I need to buy a "flush kit"?
I've seen ones from Prestone in the auto parts stores... or should I
just use a hose? I'd like to know how to get all the old stuff out.
Also, my afterrun fan has started running more than it used to... even
when things are not warmed up. I'm hoping my new t-stat will help.
Should I be looking at other things? Connectors to clean? SJM site
discusses what to do if your afterrun does not run... mine seems to be
running too much...
