[s-cars] What to do while the head is off?

Hi all,

I've owned my '93 S4 for about three years now and have blown the head
gasket (coolant hose failure = overheat = blown gasket = opportunity to
improve while head is off)

While a valve job is obvious, and I am in on the SAMCO hose purchase, what
else makes sense now while it's apart?
