Greetings to the list,
I had the opportunity today to run my car around Denver while we had a mini
heat wave. I saw 105 degrees on the car's indicator. My oil temps were
running 5 degrees cooler than the previous week's 95 dgree day observation.
The difference was a Frankenfender cut-out behind my 21 row Happersize
oil-cooler which sits in the stock I/C location. I simply made an 8" long cut
with 2 vertical 2" cuts and bent the fender material up towards the front of
the tire to provide a built-in stone deflector shield. Long live
Frankenfenderwells! BTW my water temps were cooler by the same factor.
