Yes, Feico, the trip computer reads absolute manifold pressure in bar
(relative to zero being total vacuum) while my boost gauge reads pressure
differential in psig between ambient and manifold pressure.  Making
allowances for that difference in measurement technique and measurement
units I _still_ found that the trip computer routinely read lower pressures
than my boost gauge.  Significantly lower.  I don not know for sure that
the difference is systematic throughout the boosted Audi line but is was
certainly present in my limited sample of two 200tq's.
