Thanks Hap.
Jim, I can't say enough about this guy. He is an artist. I am sure he and
Hap are the only people to know that Hap's car was done. The paint for the
chip repair is airbrushed in but only left in the chipped holes-all the rest
is removed. I had a local guy (Knoxville, TN) try mine, but he had just
bought into this franchise operation and went to a weeks training in PA.
The pearl white is tough and he could not get the match right. This chip
repair business is really taking off to fix minor scratches for the dealer,
but Aero Colours did the whole front bumper of Tim's black audi and it was
not detectable in the bright sunlight. If I were anywhere close, I would
have booked him already. I may have to visit grandkids in CO Springs and
take the car so I can get this clear bra put on. With the garment sewing
business moving overseas, there are some computer controlled fabric cutting
machines being used to cut scotchcal for clear bras for cars--probably for
women too. I bought mine from invinca-shield.com right after the trek over
Wolf Creek pass to AZ but need the chips fixed. Just saying I wouldn't live
in CO without one.
