[s-cars] Alternator/voltage regulator ??'s

I remember reading at some point about a company who built higher end
alternators and spec voltage regulators for our cars. I would like to get in
touch with these people if anyone can give me a lead? I think I saw a website
or something. Anyway, I think getting a full rated output would help our
cars. I had a mechanic tell me once these cars were notorious for not running
full voltage.
