It is common for the lifters to "sing" when you are a quart low on oil, or
around the time when you need an oil change.   Generally, as soon as you
take car of one of the above, the lifters will quiet themselves.

Dear list,

My S-6 right hand drive(UK spec) got a tick-tick noise that can be hear from
driver seat at idle and slow speed drive(Its more loud at the A pillar
outside the car and hood closed). This noise will disappear when the RPM up
to about 1500 the sound interval doesn't raise up when I push the
accelerator. It just steady sound till a curtain point. Any one ever had
this problem b4 or where do I check.
