Been running the 16" Avus wheels for a few months since the 3:00am 993
caliper upgrade, still black and shiny, and still says "Porsche" on the
side. However, I have not gotten my share of winter snow/salt/sand yet. Some
others have suggested putting various coating on the calipers. Forget it,
you don't have the clearance, and those babies get hot, I think that
anything you put on the calipers (aside from high temp. caliper paint) will
get cooked.

Ahh, my favorite, indecent personal attacks. You're weak, you spend too much
time in front of the mirror, take off that skirt, and throw those 16's on,
and if they scrape up your pretty calipers, wear those scratches like a man.
