[s-cars] Weeping power steering cap question

It is screwed in, with an 'o' ring seal. Can be picked up at your friendly
dealer for cheap. The socket for removing it is called a drag link socket I
believe. I made my own 'mother of all screw drivers' with a big old bolt,
modified with a hack saw. Using a ratchet wrench, socket and special hand
built screw driver bolt, removal was a piece of cake.

Hi,

After 3 years the cap (black plug with X) started leaking again and a whack
with a hammer doesn't help anymore. Does anyone know if this is screwed in,
pressed it, glued in? Does it have a seal? Has anyone taken it apart? Is
there a flange on the inside like a rivet or is it just pressed in
(tapered). I can make another plug at work, but can't drive to work to make
it if I take it apart.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
