My Favorite Eastern European,
I have a red top optima that required some modding
(Thanks matt!) to fit right. Unfortunately, I
purchased the one with switched terminals, so I (By
"I", I mean Matt Russell) had to clip the cables and
redo some connections, but nothing a soldering iron
won't fix. So far, no leaks and no startup issues
(well, less.) I think they have a 10 year warranty
and they don't leak and/or corrode like my stock one
did. Igor, you should also check for corrosion on
terminals, but I know you will and I'm just mentioning
it for list posterity. My positive terminal was
corroded due to either battery leakage or a bad ground
possibly from my hacked sub install. It's fine now,
but it'll probably break cause I had to open my damn
fool mouth again.
HTH,
That Wacky Yankee
