Yes Mike,
My car has the very same problem. They tend to rust at the point where
the lines go through the rubber mounting blocks.
I would encourage everyone to closely inspect their fuel lines under the
car. If you do find evidence of leaks, it may not hurt to file the
incident with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (U.S.

This worked to our advantage last time and eventually led to the fuel
line recall we're all familiar with. I'll have to dig through my notes
and see if I still have the contact information for the NHTSA
investigators I dealt with when documenting the first round of fuel leaks.
Perhaps 'S' isn't for sport... with these fuel leaks Shish kabob comes
to mind. ;-)
