You must have your eye on a pretty snazzy bungalo Scott. The expense past rs2
is a turbo about 400$ more expensive, a 375$ fuel pump, 600$ worth of
injectors, 400$ worth of MAF, a custom airbox 300$, a few silicone hoses and
clamps 200$, a 150$ catch can, a 1000$ intercooler, and a 400$ oil cooler, a
500$ clutch and a 700$ flywheel + 1700$ worth of rods and pistons + 1000$
worth of SW and a little secret. Not too much for the extra 140hp on a 93
octaine engine in my experience. Especially when driveability doesnt suffer
and the grin is wider than the car. I never said this was cost effective but
I dont care. I have told everyone who has asked not to start until you
understand the costs. Now that I am so close, what I have learned about this
and other computer controlled cars has been worth every penny. Remember,
Peter B, Mike and I have been thru the various stages and learned what
worked,so others will save big. With the right guidance this can now be done
at 1/2 the cost I have in mine due to the trial and error involved and the 5
different stages I and others have been thru. So like.. is this bungalo of
yours in the swamp or what. This can be done for a 25K$ bill with a 6 speed
all labor and a dyno run included now or maybe much less if you are good with
a wrench/ross tool and multimeter.
