Thanks Igor
1.8 huh? Well at least you could rebuild it for me if it breaks;) Does
anyone know how the 3.0 performs?
I wouldnt go CVT.
I'm in Chicago btw, which is tropical Canada, but I could prolly get by w/o
quattro (well plowed roads.) But Quattro is cool with SJ nearby for proper
torsen adjustment;)
Thanks much
Bill m

Bill,
I drove a 3.0 CVT and was utterly unimpressed. Noisy and slow. I'd go
for a 1.8T w/o a doubt, then spend $500 for a chip and come out $5k
ahead fo the 3.0.
An Acura seems an attactive proposition from th ereliability standpoint,
but then again, you live in CA as in Canada, not California. That alone
pretty much rules out a non-quattro.
As for the Cayennee or whatever this contraption is called - I'd better
shut up. ;)
