[s-cars] A4 1.8, 3.0 or TL

My mother drives a TL type S.  Nice car if you're into driving a somewhat
quicker, dressed up Accord that is completely devoid of personality.
She's counting the days 'till the lease is up.

Bill,
I drove a 3.0 CVT and was utterly unimpressed. Noisy and slow. I'd go
for a 1.8T w/o a doubt, then spend $500 for a chip and come out $5k
ahead fo the 3.0.
An Acura seems an attactive proposition from th ereliability standpoint,
but then again, you live in CA as in Canada, not California. That alone
pretty much rules out a non-quattro.
As for the Cayennee or whatever this contraption is called - I'd better
shut up. ;)
