Any interest in waiting for the VW Touareg?
The price, power, and fit & finish are hard to beat. The adjustable
suspension is rockin too. More *and* less clearance than all it's
competitors :-)
I bring this up because I was considering the A4's for my wife but
was disappointed with how little performance I got for the money... 3.0
liters isn't that great at 7200 feet so it was turbo or big block.
We ended up scrapping Audi and getting a WRX sport wagon and are both more
impressed than we'd anticipated. For me, when choosing cars, performance
and price will beat out luxury most of the time
The review of the Touareg in this months Car and Driver really opened my
opinions of getting an SUV in a few years when we need more space
(they were previously tightly closed until I read about Volvo's XC (90?))
Anyway, food for thought,
