I have a CenterForce Dual-Friction and 12lb Alum. FW but only around 280 HP. Happersized Hap has much more then ~350 HP at the Crank..suspect somewhere around ~380+ at the wheels) and I have not experienced any slippage (obviously) nor have I heard of any from Hap.

Hap can you comment on your experiences?

Cheers

I wont have experience with the SPEC until after Jan 5th. I can tell you that
the Centerforce had some slippage even at ~350hp. At >400hp it slips a lot. I
hope everyone knows that having enough clutch to hook it all up will put
addl. strain on components up and down stream, i.e. Crank and
tranny/driveshafts. I dont care, but you may so buyer beware. I think if you
dont have over 350hp the Cforce is a viable option (unless you drag race).
Past that i.e. over 400hp or greater, then you need either a custom such as
SPEC or MTM's rs4 setup, but this has a huge and heavy flywheel (I dont think
it is dual tho??) altho it seems to hold torque well on a stroker being
developed. Always remember that dropping the clutch at 5-6000rpm can be a bad
thing for other components and the stock clutch and CForce are fairly
effective 'fuses'. You will also want to have a good set shocks and springs
cause even my CForce will hop the wheels on a hard 1st to 2nd (even slipping)
and this is big time bad for the o1e.
