Thanks for the thought Taka.  Starter sounded as normal.  If it were the
above scenario, would that rear it's head like this all the sudden?  And @
101k?

Turns out I DO have VAG COM access, right under my Polish nose.  Typical.
Pulling codes tonight, don't want to subject poor Tom to more of my hunting
/ pecking ;-0.  Still HOPING it's CPS, babyneedsnewshoes.  If it is, it'll
go in Sat. during Seatheaterathon (6 pm, Tolland, beer, BTW...).
