For such a classy car, there were some truly bizarre color combinations out
there. Saw one at a local high-end new/used stealership here in Columbus
that was silver with a chocolate brown interior! Extremely nasty! Possibly
a custom order by the original owner, but it sat forever on the lot.
At the other extreme is a Black/Black de-badged S8 driving around Dublin, OH
with a lower than stock stance, and a rather naughty growl to the exhaust
note. Hoo-wa!

I had a '93 V8 Quattro before the UrS6. Other than it needed the
Bilstein and Eibach treatment since applied to the UrS6, it was a very
nice car. Even that early 4.2L V8 had lots of power and torque and
the 4 speed auto-quattro wasn't that bad either.

I'll bet a bit of suspension tweaking on a later A8 would produce
a very nice car.
