I just saw a used 2001 S8 a dealer today. Less than 6K miles and the
asking price was 58,000. The car is flawless. It is out of my bracket
entirely but I think that price is a deal

Old man was going to get the allroad and put me in
charge of modding it, but he leases and has always
been a big sedan type of guy.  AWD addict, loves
torque more than anything else...besides, he's had an
A6, why get another one?  So the S8 is it, he's been
drooling over it since he got his A8 in '98, the thing
is pretty damn nice.  He was flirting with the OnStar
girl on the test drive and yelling at the navigation
that he knew a shortcut.  ;-)  Typical Enzo.
