You're welcome, Bob. The good news is that now we know the fix will work on
your car!

 The high beams will work properly as long as you leave the fog light relay
out, but of course you have no fog lights. You'll have to use one of the
fixes mentioned in my post to get both the high beams and fog lights
working. You could try installing different high beam relays to see if you
luck into ones with a higher drop-out voltage. I used Bosch relays and they
had the latching problem. I don't know what relays Igor used, but apparently
he didn't have the problem.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it. That
said, I just went out to pull the fog relay and low and behold, it all works
like it's supposed to! I noticed earlier today that the auto-open feature
for the drivers window did not work at first. I tried a second time and it
worked fine. Perhaps when I disconnected the battery to do the H/L install,
something reset or did not reset when reconnected. Electrical gremlins at
their best.
