[s-cars] Help - 93' S4 w/140k for 6000.00 - good deal or run away?

It's got the carbon-fiber trim (whoopee. . .hahaha)
Being a former BMW guy (now an audiphile) I have limited knowledge of the 93 S4 - I will let you know now that I am planning on making this a track car over the next year and it will not be a "daily driver".  I would rate it in "Fair" condition upon the brief inspection I had and I will be going over it via the checklist that I located on S-Cars.org. . . . but the ultimate plan would be to track it anyway. It's a toss up as I am also considering a 91 Coupe for 6000 but slapping (makes it sound so simple) a S4 engine in it (I can get the engine, harness and ECU for 2900.00 w/60k miles. . . Is that a "good deal"?)

Any help you all could bring is greatly appreciated!!!
