I've had troublesome rear-view mirrors on other cars, but the S4 has to
be the worst. It has come unglued about four times in the past year. The
instructions on the adhesive pakage mention removing the disc that glues
to the windshield, attaching it, then reattaching the mirror, after the
adhesive has set. Best I can tell, this isn't an option on the S-Car.
Usual fix involves the adhesive and plenty of stapping tape to hold the
mirror in place, while it sets. Anybody know of a better way, because
this seems a short-term fix at best? Hotter weather only speeds the
process. TIA.
