Guys,
I think the B5 S4 crowd figured this one out for their
cars and it requires clipping a connector on a relay.
Helped a friend of mine do it on his (relay behind
glove box = Royal PITA in the rain). There's probably
a (gasp!) Audiworld writeup on it somewhere on there.
Bob, let me know what you find out as this interests
me also.
