Hey all

Another thing to consider is when the machine shop
gets the head is that  they aren't going to use old
valves over if they are bent or suspect, something
they will know when they cut seats/valves and lap in
valves.  Bent valves will be replaced trust me.  If
their work fails it is on them and the dealer service
dept will be pissed.

I worked in dealer service at Audi in Fairfield CT for
4 years.  Trust me the tech respnsable is getting
grief from his manager and it may be the front office
not the service dept that is stalling and giving you
the runaround.  The service manager is doing as he is
told.

If I knew anyone who worked there I call ahead and see
what is up. I don't.
