Dan,
Nope, it's from New Country in Greenwich and HOT DAMN,
is it sweet!  Took a drive in it today and it's
beautiful.  Tiptronic?  Yes.  Does that stop the fun?
Not even remotely.  The sport mode has higher shift
points, yadda, yadda, yadda, basically, it shifts more
like I do.  The thing is at home cruising on the
highway, has more than enough power than the old man
knows what to do with and I've convinced him to come
track the car this summer.  Very smooth ride, gobs
upon gobs of torque and is a real high speed cruiser.
No, it won't push you back in your seat like a 5k
launch from an AWD monster like certain listers' cars,
but it is a terrific cruiser.  Very smooth power,
quite torquey and the creature comforts are just fun
to play with.  Navigation, OnStar, etc.  Overall, a
very cool car.  I just may have to steal those 18"
Celebrations, though, if I could just convince him to
go the custom wheel route.
