Philippe,
in the back of your instrument cluster there is a slide switch that has
I believe 6 differen positions. One of them - German. Antother are
American, Canadian, World and something else. This switch selects the
language and the pictogrammes for the display.
I bet you your mechanic has accidentally slid this switch into position
#1: German. Pull the cluster and set the switch to the desired location.
A 10 minute job. Good luck.
