I would recommend you start looking at pearl white paint jobs-yours and
others to decide what may be acceptable to you.  The body shop will not
have a robot to give the car the same dead-on even application of the
center pearl coat.  This leaves you to an artist to approximate the
factory paint.  The good ones will do a great job, but it will never be
an absolute match.  How much to repaint?  Up to you.  I just would not
be thinking repaint to the first body joint and all will be great.   I
love that pearl white paint until it needs touch -up.
