In light of all the recent discussion:


T’was the week before Christmas
And all through my head,
My timing belt’s broken
My engine’s now dead

The crankcase is leaking
There’s oil everywhere,
And like Hoffman Audi
My wife doesn’t care!

The valves are all bent
The pistons they slap,
When I think of repair costs
It just makes me crap!

“How could this have happened?”
I say to myself
And then there appeared
A Four-Ringed Elf

He stood there before me
Shaking his head,
and proceeded to tell me
Why my S4 was dead

“Consult your Bentley
Or ask SMJ
That belt should be changed
At about 60K”

“You on the other hand
Cheap bastard that you are,
Have gone 75K
15 thousand too far!”

Lucky for me
This is all in my head,
But I must change the belt
‘Fore the cogs start to shred!

So this is the call
To all Mid-western listers
Come to Columbus
Bring your tools, leave with blisters!

I’ll host the event
We’ll share beers and some knowledge
With the money we save
We can put kids through college!
