Beware this especially if splice not done at least a few feet away from the
sensor. Also any splice should be soldered and heat shrunk.

Hey guys... (I'm not trying to start anything, but) a few months ago the
head of service at New Country Audi mentioned that AoA had issued a new
service bulletin about soldering wires.  They now recommend only using crimp
connectors.  I found that interesting...
