The scales are depicted graphically at www.moreboost.com.
It has a scale that is similar to the Bosch 3.0 unit (It is within a few
percent based on full scale voltage). I did not mean to imply that it would
fix a lean cruising situation, however you can run it at 2.9 bar and it will
reduce pinging under maximum boost because the maximum boost threshold has
been lowered.
So I run mine at 2.9 (California). However I also changed the ignition chip
(away from MTM) because personally I do not care to run lean under any
circumstances except when I take my foot off the throttle and the car is
still in gear. There still may be pinging at 2.9 bar with the MTM Ignition
chip but it will be less than with Bosch 3.0 bar (or the VMAP set to 3.0 bar)
running 91 octane.
