For parts, the dealer was fine when the car was under warranty. There
are still some items best obtained from them. I went to Blaufergnugen
at <www.audiquattroparts.com> for everything until I joined this list.
The parts direct membership on the <www.s-cars.org> site is my favorite
now, but Darin can't supply everything. I've used
<www.euro-car-service.com>, <www.thepartsbin.com>,
<www.germanautoparts.com>, <www.puma-access.com>,
<www.thepartsconnection.com>, and <www.bimmerparts.com> . This is not
a complete list, and I've had some minor problems, but it has been
mostly due to the nature of long distance buying of parts for a
complicated car. There are list members that operate parts supplies
too that many swear by. They also supply a wealth of helpful
information.
Hopefully, they will invite you to visit, electronically, or otherwise,
especially when you have a specific problem or parts need. They can be
a lot of help when you don't know what you need also. I expect that to
be the case sometime during the period this car owns you. I own the
VAG-COM diagnostics and the Bentley manual, and still cry help often.

For those left out, blow your own horn. I don't buy that many parts.
And, I'm not the Archive Hoar anyway.
