Keith,

       Who is your mechanic?  I would like to call him and see if he can get
another at that price.  I have called all over looking for a new Compressor.
Everything I have heard about the rebuilds are that they just don't last.  I
have called Compressor International Inc., but they want $595 for a new one,
and they aren't sure if they can get a new one as they don't have any on the
shelves.

I keep calling everyone I can think of to try to source them.  I think a GP
would be good. It seems as if there is a need out there for compressors.  I
think I am going to have a hard time because I need the R-12 and not the
R-134 as the fittings are slightly different.

They were apparently out of rebuilt units at the time my shop called them, =
so they sent a new one, and my shop charged me his cost of $380.00  This wa=
s last week.
