The struts caps are tight, I double checked them.  I
have heard of others that wrapped some tape on the
strut body to make it tight in the tube.

I did not add oil to the strut tube and maybe I should
have but I doubt that is the noise.

It is so hard to describe a noise online, when I hear
it and the sound etc.

So I will try my tubing over coils as well as I can
w/o removing the whole strut.   I may only do one side
first to see if anything changes at all.

Total diassembly is a last resort.
