Hey! as i wrote a few days ago i had some problem with rattling noices wiit=
ch i found out came from the propellar shaft... so after reading about the =
shaft about removal and stuff on a few internet sites i was ready to do the=
job my self. got the car up on 4 stands and found the appropriate tools an=
d got underneath the car... well... i thougt it would be an eays job.. just=
loosen the bolts and get the shaft down.. but noo wayy.. there was the exh=
aust blocking all access... so after 15 min og swearing and stuff i fiksed =
some other stuff insted like a fuel leak and a water leak...

But i finally decied to start this propellar shaft removing operation.. all=
the bolts on the exhauts was of course rusted like an old Lada so those ha=
d to be sawed off.. and since i dont have a dremel or any other power cutti=
ng device it had to be done by manpower(how hard could it be?)... it took 6=
hours or more to saw off the 6 bolts cause there wasn't any room for a met=
all saw inbetween everywhere.. so i had to use the saw with just the blade =
in my hand..hehe well.. got the exhaust off and every other little stuff n=
eeded to get access to the shaft.. then it was time to loosen the bolts on =
the shaft.. i knew those was hard to get out so i used a propan torch as de=
scribed on the web but without any luck.. i was almost thinking of setting =
the whole car on fire and see if that would loosen them... but after 2 more=
tries with the propan torch they finally came loose and the shaft was off.=
. i delivered it to a campany that said they could change the bearing/rubbe=
r thingie the nest day.. went up to get it and the price was supposed to be=
around 150$ but they had found some slack(?) in the connecting rods(or wha=
t its called in english) so they had to rebuild it and balance it .. so it =
all came down to 300$ and they guy gave me his garuanties that it would now=
be even bether then a new stock shaft..haha.. so i got home and installed =
it in the car, i wish i had at least 4 arms doig that job but i finally got=
it in place.. i also emptied out my catalysators since i already had them =
of.. them it was time to put the exhaust back on. well.. all the bolts i ha=
d sawed off was stuck like a bit**** the heads would NOT move an inch... so=
back with the propan torch underneath the car and warmed it up until it gl=
owed=3D) and after 2 hous i had removed all the heads... i bought new bolts=
, but NOT the stock one cause they are u sure not to get off next time. and=
they cost like 5$ each... while i was under there i also chopped of all t=
he metall covering the exhaust pipes i front, cause they had loosened and m=
ade a terrible sound at sertain rpm's... so like 2 hours ago i just finishe=
d the job and went for a test run.... aaaaaaaahhh... NICE!!! no more noice.=
.=2E it feels just like i've just bough a new car....

Sorry for the long post, but i just had to shear this with you fellow S own=
ers
