Well, you are giving Al Gore a close race! If you'd use one or two of
those aluminum racing jacks Harbor Freight is selling you might gain
an edge on him!
I have to tell someone about my dream ... and this might really come to pass!
If I can install one of those automatic tire pressure monitoring systems
that feeds a display unit in the car - I can engineer a replacement display
signal receptor that gives me a digital feed onto the ISO-9141 bus used
by the vehicle mangement system. Then I could use Uwe Ross's OBD-II type
adapter to feed RS-232 into my notebook computer, that would compose email's
sent via the cell phone back to the S-Car list. I could include vehicle
MPH so we could see how tire pressure variation correlated to vehicle speed!
There could even be an indication of sound system Bose & KEF volume level
and a count of the number of listener survey forms dispensed! Do you think
one posting about every 5 minutes would be close enough?
