Hello Old Buddies Old Pals :)
Well tonight we went in and replaced the clutch master cylinder. As it
turned out what happened was the famous shaft broke off, clutch to the floor.
This should never happen IME cept on fords maybe.
so, now everything is back together, resevoir filled and since my Motive
bleeder was mis-shipped, wont have that till mon or tues.
The advice I seek is a propper proceedure for bleeding the hydraulic system
now. What is the correct order to bleed?
Must I bleed the brakes? If so, I believe it would it be RR, LR, RF, LF.
Would I bleed at the clutch slave cylinder and if so where would that be in
the sequence of bleeds.
We have tried various methods of bleeding at just the slave cylinder but
clutch still goes to the floor.
As always; thanks in advance.
So far my BTDT for the master replacement would basically be; diassembly is
relatively easy (and intuitive.) re-assembly requires patience and a lot of
light to see what you're doin.
Cheers'
Bill m -w/non hydraulic clutch :(
