[s-cars] Timing Belt

My mechanic estimated about $540 for timing belt & water pump two years ago.
Much less that the $1,500 quoted by the Audi dealer!

I'm about to have a mechanic replace my timing belt
(at 70,000 miles), and was just wondering what a
typical replcement runs in terms of cost/hours. I
would just like to have a ball park so when he gives
me his estimate I can make a call on it. Thanks
