Hello,

I have a 93 S$ with brake pad warning light issues.
When I got the car the wires were already cut and
connected to each other. I called the PO and he told
me he had gotten the car 2 years earlier that way and
the brake pad warning came on 6 months ago just
randomly. I have tried so far replacing the
connectors, splicing the the wires and as someone on
the list mentioned earlier I have tried soldering the
wires. In all cases the warning light went away until
I move the the car (a short further up the line
maybe?). So I traced the wires on both sides to inside
the fenders. Now to the point of this tirade does
anyone know where these wires end up i.e. control
module, mini computer, little man behind the curtain
who has decided to torment me with this warning light.
I have looked in Bentley to no avail, if I am doing
something wrong and a schematic showing the location
is there and can someone be so kind to tell me the
page number and if not that what sacrifice ritual to
perform to appease the gods.
