It is basically very easy.  Bridge the two connectors with a short wire or paperclip for a few seconds, then read the codes on the blinking check engine light.

Hey Guys,
	Well my check engine light/emissions light came on this AM.  I understand I can bridge a couple of wires under the hood in the relay box to read the output.  I also have a VAG-COM tool but do not have the adapter for the UrS4 only the OBDII...going to pick up the 2x2 connector soon ;-)  Until then is there anyone that can help me/help diagnose?
