I suggest that unless you know that the steering wheel was removed and
put back incorrectly, you fix it a different way. Else you may change
the number of turns to right lock vs. left lock.
Adjust the toe at the front wheels so that both point more to the right
(or left), whichever way gets the wheel straight when driving straight.
In other words, if the car turns right when you hold the steering wheel
straight, toe in the right wheel and toe out the left wheel. If you do
the same number of turns on each side, the total toe in won't change,
assuming it is right to begin with. I'd really suggest you get the car
aligned.
