Sounds like you need an exhaust system to make that car purrrrr like it should and and gain a few percent more to the performance envelope.

Oh Momma! The car IS most definitely faster. I tried to hold off a little
bit as I don't want to blow a hose prior to the Samco GP arrival. But I did
see (briefly) ALL LED's light up on my VBM. That was 25psi. The Saab 9-3
that had been right next to me was waaaaay back there. Kinda fun to now see
the 16+ psi (that I used to see only at WOT) with only a medium pressure
applied to the go-pedal. This mod is definitely HUGE bang for the buck.
One side-effect I noticed was the engine oil and coolant temps rose above
norm faster than I had seen in stock form. No funny "goose" noises to
report or others for that matter. I'll take it for a longer drive over the
weekend :-)
