Hi all.

After tons of investigation, I am buying an extended warranty for my car. I=
'm pretty anal when it comes to this stuff, and this one met all my require=
ments. Take a look if you are interested. Primary considerations were:

1=2E Comprehensive coverage, even for older cars (my '93 has 95K miles, and=
this warranty covers stuff like radio and speakers, A/C, suspension includ=
ing control arm bushings, motors and solenoids, ECU, ABS, etc. plus all the=
 basics like powertrain).

2=2E Backed by real insurance company, with appropriate reserves, and does =
not hide or try to conceal how they operate

3=2E Pays with corporate credit card so no out of pocket

4=2E Ability to "pay as you go" on installment plan, not pay up front

5=2E Reasonable cost for long term coverage, not just $2K for 12/12 warranty

6=2E Easily transferable

7=2E Wear and tear, gaskets, and overheating coverage

8=2E Customer service able to answer questions, send sample contract, etc.

I have a copy of the actual contract if anyone would like to see it. Just e=
mail me.

For my car, coverage is $1700 for 3/36 comprehensive, including towing and =
rental car, and it's $98 a month pay as you go. Full refund if unused prio =
to 60 days cancellation, and pro-rated refund after that. $100 deductible p=
er visit, not per covered item. Limit on coverage is no more than trade-in =
value of car in any one visit, and no more than original purchase price of =
car over life of warranty.
