I experienced this an corrected it with a power on reset.
Be sure you have your radio codes handy before you remove the battery negat=
ive,cable.
Reconnect, and you should be right.

Hi all - I'm experiencing a problem with my 93 S4. Just the other day, my a=
larm and automatic locks became reversed. Now, whenever I use the key butto=
n to attempt to lock the car and turn on the alarm, the doors actually unlo=
ck and the alarm turns on. When I press the button again, the alarm turns o=
ff and the doors lock.

Does anyone know how to reverse this problem? It's very frustrating to have=
 the alarm on with the doors unlocked... The car thinks it's locking the do=
ors when it's actually unlocking them, and vice-versa.
