paul,

if you like your car, i'd strongly suggest that you not use rubber lines
for oil lines.  oil pressures spike a lot when the engine is cold, and
rubber lines have been known to blow out.  there's a reason why audi used
braided steel lines.  you won't see rubber oil lines on a race car, either.
yes, the braided steel lines are quite a bit more than rubber lines, but
cheap compared to the cost of replacing an engine.
