Hi Charlie;

This will work:

You need the old Windoze standby - re-boot the system. Disconnect the
battery, wait for a few minutes, and reconnect. If that doesn't work, try
this:
1.	Remove back seat bottom
2.	Open right rear door.
3.	Lock car with key or remote.
4.	Disconnect battery.
5.	Unlock car with key.
6. Reconnect battery.

Subject:	[s-cars] 93 S4: Door Locks have reversed!

--
[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ]

Hi all - I'm experiencing a problem with my 93 S4. Just the other day, my
alarm and automatic locks became reversed. Now, whenever I use the key
button to attempt to lock the car and turn on the alarm, the doors actually
unlock and the alarm turns on. When I press the button again, the alarm
turns off and the doors lock.

Does anyone know how to reverse this problem? It's very frustrating to
have the alarm on with the doors unlocked... The car thinks it's locking
the doors when it's actually unlocking them, and vice-versa.

Thanks for any input,

Charlie
