[s-cars] Steering Column Creak

I have the very same creak.. I thought it came from the grommet in the torpedo wall, but it seems to come from the rack itself. (I have a crack in the rubber bellow, and it's probable that I'm low on grease in there..) I also thought it might come from the steering damper, as it's quite empty, or the upper strut bearings, as the vibrating noise is impossible to pin-point as it is guided through the whole system..

Please report if you find another source, and fix it!
